In this creative course, kids will learn and study the color wheel, color mixing, and color theory through acrylic paints. They will explore various art and painting techniques with step-by-step guidance to create their own masterpiece. Students will experiment with acrylic paint, learn to express themselves visually, and develop their artistic skills in a fun, supportive environment. Whether they’re beginners or budding artists, this course is designed to ignite their creativity and boost their confidence. Students will receive cardstock, canvas, acrylic paints, and brushes as part of this course. It is recommended to have an old t-shirt smock, paper towels, a pencil and a water cup for class. This course is designed for students in grades 3-8.

Students must be registered by April 8, 2025 to receive their materials in time for the course if choosing to have materials provided. If opting to provide your own materials, students should be registered by April 11, 2025 and will need to have their materials by the first class. Students will receive their Zoom link to access the course via email by 8:00am on the morning their course begins.
